Beautiful new facilities are currently under construction in the town of Zhelin to provide quality educational services to 6,000 additional students. The new facilities will include a well-organized administration building, ample classrooms, a well-equipped library, training facilities, computer rooms, a multi-media language laboratory, student apartment buildings, a dining hall, and a fitness center. This 52-acre campus will give students every tool they need to gain the knowledge and skills that will boost them into a better future.

The bulk of the students entering Shanghai Chengxin Technical College are recent high school graduates or students moving over from vocational schools throughout the Shanghai area. Different levels of education are available across several fields of study including finance, tourism management, business language in both English and Japanese, law, decorative art, and computer technologies. The new campus at Zhelin will introduce a new focus on healthcare service training to create competent professionals who will help meet the ever-growing demand for healthcare services in the Shanghai area.

Shanghai Chengxin College is not only dedicated to helping its students graduate with proficiency in a trade, but also works hard to help the student gain employment after graduation. The college has established long-term relationships with Shanghai Human Resource Marketing Center, Distance Education College of East China Normal University, Huashen International Education Co., Ltd., many other universities and businesses to provide as many employment opportunities for the students as possible. In 2003, the college saw their efforts come to fruition as students experienced a 99 percent employment rate after graduation.
